Euro Vision Edu Consultancy ("Euro Vision", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit eurovisionedu.com, submit an enquiry, message us on WhatsApp, or become a client.
By using this website or sending us an enquiry, you agree to the handling of your data as described here.
1. Who we are
Euro Vision Edu Consultancy is an education consultancy based in Kochchikade, Sri Lanka. We advise Sri Lankan students on studying, training and working in Germany — university admissions, Ausbildung, nursing placements, Au Pair programmes and the Opportunity Card visa.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our website and email infrastructure are operated on our behalf by Digitazh (Private) Limited, who act as our data processor.

2. What we collect
We collect personal data only when you give it to us, or when it is generated automatically as you browse the site.
Information you give us directly:
- Your name, email address and phone number, submitted through the enquiry form
- The programme you are interested in and the content of your message
- If you message us on WhatsApp, your WhatsApp number and the messages you send
- If you become a client: educational qualifications, transcripts, passport and identity details, language certificates, financial and blocked-account evidence, and other documents required for an application
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type
- Pages visited, time on page, referring site and similar usage data, collected through Google Analytics
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for the full list
We do not ask for payment card details on this website
The website has no payment function. If you engage us as a client, fees are arranged separately and directly with our office.
3. Why we use your data, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary to deliver the service or where the law requires it.
- Universities, language schools, Ausbildung providers, hospitals and employers in Germany — where you have asked us to make an application on your behalf
- German diplomatic missions and immigration authorities, and Sri Lankan authorities, where an application or the law requires it
- Amazon Web Services (AWS), which hosts this website and delivers our enquiry emails, in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region
- Google, which provides Google Analytics 4 and Search Console
- Meta Platforms, if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp
- Digitazh (Private) Limited, our website and email provider, who may access data in the course of maintaining the service
- Professional advisers, or a regulator or court, where we are legally required to disclose
Your documents are only sent where you direct
We do not submit your application documents to any institution without your instruction. If you decide not to proceed with an application, we do not send it.
5. International transfers
Our service is inherently international. Delivering it means sending your data outside Sri Lanka — most often to Germany and the wider European Union, and to service providers in Singapore and the United States.
Where we transfer data internationally we rely on your explicit instruction to make an application on your behalf, on the contract between us, or on the standard contractual protections offered by our service providers.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted
- Client files, including application documents: up to 6 years after the engagement ends, to cover legal, tax and professional record-keeping
- Website analytics data: 14 months, after which Google Analytics deletes it automatically
- WhatsApp conversations: for as long as the enquiry is active, subject to the same 24-month rule

7. Your rights
Under Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, and under the EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies to you, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Ask us to delete your data, where we have no continuing legal reason to keep it
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data
- Withdraw consent to analytics at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority
To exercise any of these, email info@eurovisionedu.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release personal data.
8. Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and enquiry data is transmitted encrypted. Access to enquiry email and client files is limited to Euro Vision staff who need it, and to our website provider for maintenance.
No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send passport scans, financial statements or other sensitive documents through the website enquiry form or over WhatsApp — bring them to our office or send them by the secure route we agree with you.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. Where an applicant is under 18, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the enquiry and to consent to us handling the applicant’s data. If you believe a child has given us personal data without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
